Dr. Emmanuel Kayode Adetifa, a pioneer set of the Faculty of Law of the then Ondo State University (now Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti) graduated in 1997. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1999. In 2001, he started his legal practice in the prestigious Chambers of A.O. Akanle SAN and company in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State. He thereafter proceeded to join the Ekiti Civil Service as a State Counsel in the Ministry of Justice. In year 2004, he bagged LLM degree from the University of Ibadan. He finally left the employ of the Ekiti Civil Service in 2007 as a Senior Legal Officer to join the service of the Ekiti State University as Lecturer II. In 2016, he bagged his Ph.D  in Law from the Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti and was promoted to the rank of Senior Lecturer in 2016. He has published both in local and international journals. He has served and still serving the University in various capacities.
